Shiv Savitri college, is one of the Institutions of Awadh University. The faculty is renowned for their meritorious profile, versatile talent and dedication to education. The college has produced students who have excelled in various professions and have contributed in numerous ways to society at large. The library is the 'heart' of any educational institution and plays an important role in all activities and more in educational institutions. Keeping in view the aims and objectives of the College, the library has been planned and is being developed by a team of qualified professional library staff and guided by the Library Council. It has a collection of bocks covering a wide range of general and special subjects consisting of textbooks, reference books, back volumes of journals and reports etc., apart from current legal periodicals. All students enrolled in the full-time academic programmes at the Shiv Savitri college are members of the Student. It is a matter of great pride for all of us at the college that the student body enjoys substantial autonomy and is in fact encouraged by the faculty to engage in a wide range of curricular and co-curricular activities. We have developed a warm supportive atmosphere for our national student body by constant monitoring of standards and the involvement of the students who provide regular feedback. The efforts are to inspire the students to grow into mature students, with a strong sense of social and national responsibility.
