SHM Engineering College is one of the prestigious project of Kadakkal Educational Trust. The institution is envisaged as a Centre of Excellence, which in turn will bring out technocrats with superior skill and social commitment. It will be the earnest endeavor of the college to provide state-of-art facilities to mould brilliant young talents enabling them to take up challenging assignments in the highly competitive global scenario. The college established in 2002, is situated in a 25 acre plot at a picturesque spot in the hilly town of Kadakkal and has got all infrastructural facilities incorporating spacious, well furnished and fully equipped class rooms, library, Computer centre, drawing hall, laboratories, workshop etc. The college is self financed and has got approvals of AICTE and Govt. of Kerala.
