Shaheed Kanshi Ram Memorial College

Shaheed Kanshi Ram Memorial College is an institution of higher learning which is named after the great martyr of Gadar movement Pandit Kanshi Ram Ji who was hanged on 27th March, 1915 by the British Government. It was established by the untiring efforts of Comrade Sardar Shamsher Singh Josh in 1974 at village Bhagoo Majra,(Kharar) to pay tribute to this great freedom fighter. The College has distinct identity among various other Colleges and Institutions of Kharar. The College campus is spread over an area of 20 acres on Kharar.Morinda Road, nearly 500m away from village Kanpur with imposing building in lush green pollution free environment, away from hustle of city life. The college is known for its strict discipline moral values and character based education .The college has competent faculty, excellent infrastructure including a spacious campus, a modern building, Computer and English speaking labs etc in order to serve the people of the region, the state and the country, one of the best education and other related infrastructure.
