Shadan Institute of Post Graduate Studies

This college was established in the year 1993, with the courses in M.Sc. (Applied Maths), M.Sc. (Maths with specialization in Computer Sciences), M.Sc. (Physics) and M.Sc. (Applied Electronics). This is a two-year Course program and the students are given the courses under well-experienced and qualified teachers. In addition to this, the college has commenced additional courses in M.Sc. (Microbiology), M.Sc. (Genetics), M.Sc. (Analytical Chemistry), M.Sc.(Nutrition), M.Sc. (Biochemistry). The Shadan P.G. Centre has successfully given out students with university ranks with a number of distinctions and first classes. Most of the students are well placed in the industry as well as the top universities for research programs in I.I.T?s, I.I.Sc, central University etc. The students are also pursuing their higher education in universities abroad. The Shadan Institute of P.G. Students has the privilege to announce that some of its students at M.Sc. Level are recipients of National Merit Scholarships and considerable number of students have successfully qualified the N.E.T. Exam conducted by the U.G.C-GATE and JRF/SRF exams with a very good percentage / percentile score. The College also has some students qualifying the ?College Service Commission? conducted by the state. The College has well experienced staff, with a good academic background and a rich research experience, who encourage, motivate and help the students not only for the university exams but also for the other competitive exams like GATE, NET CSIR Exams, C.S.C, Etc. The Students are exposed to the best of the Libraries and also well equipped labs. Extra Lab time is allotted to students who evince keen interest in Lab-activity and some projects are also undertaken to give students good practical experience.
