Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Arts and Science College

To provide higher education for liable, needy, economically backward and specially for women?s, the members of the Mandal established Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Arts & Science College in June 1993. The College is affiliated to the North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and registered under 2( f) and 12(b) at UGC .College runs coeducation. College has its own campus with essential well equipped building. The College is accredited by NAAC in 2004 . The farmers are the basic element of financial source for our nation who always suffers from natural disasters, financial irregularities, and water resources since past decades. Our institute is run by such farmers to promote higher education for rural masses since 23 years. College has utilized XIth Plan grant for women hostel, sports Centre, general development and some carrier oriented programs. Apart from this our management continuously encourages us for further development. Most prideful achievement of College is BEST COLLEGE 2011-12, Awarded by North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. Postgraduate Research Centre at Department of Physics is recognized by North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon since from academic year 2014-15.Two students are perusing Ph.D. at this Centre. Large no of research papers are published by faculties from both streams. They are ongoing continuously research.
