Syed Abdul Rahiman BafakhyThangal Memorial (S.A.R.B.T.M) Govt. College Koyilandy, affiliated to the University of Calicut and accredited B-Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), is located at Muchukunnu about 7 km north- east of Koyilandy town. It comes under the jurisdiction of Mudadi Panchayat ( Koyilandy taluk Kozhikode Dist., Kerala State).The college was established in 1975. It offers the UG courses BA History, BCom and BSc Physics and the PG courses MCom and MSc Physics. The College has a sprawling campus of sylvan beauty of more than 18 acres, which was donated by a committee of the local enthusiasts. Situated far away from the bustle of city, peacefully couched in scenic greenery, It lies on the western bank of Akalapuzha. This has created a campus with the right ambience for study and reflection.
