Under the scholarship of this trust SANKARA EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS were established in the year 1991 and the institution was named after the great saint ?Adhi Sankara?. ?IN PURSUIT OF KNOWLEDGE? is the prophetic mission statement of the college. Sankara Educational Institutions are ceaseless in their pursuit of excellence, to provide quality education to all poor in the quest of knowledge. The student community and the society today have recognized the inspired effort that Sankara is now one among the most sought places for learning. The college has a long academic tradition in scholarship. This is coupled with facilities for the pursuit of knowledge so that it caters to the needs of the rural students who aspire for arts and science courses. The Management is headed by Thiru.T.P.Ramachandran, Secretary, an able leader and self motivated personality. At the college we believe in not just teaching but to guide the students to an overall enhancement as a person to build their career. The sprawling campus is situated on 40 acres of land with all necessary infrastructure. The campus comprises of aesthetically designed architecture, permanent structure confined to respective activities, the academic building, labs, library, auditorium, hostels, cafeteria, playground, temple etc.Having successfully crossed the various hurdles encountered on the way of its growth, Sankara has grown in stature and strength today, and has become one of the finest educational institutions dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge and excellence.
