Sailajananda Falguni Smriti Mahavidyalaya

Sailajananda Falguni Smriti Mahavidyalaya is a Govt-aided constituent college of The University of Burdwan. The college is located at Khayrasole, Birbhum, West Bengal which is approximately 35 kms away from the district head quarter, Suri and 11 kms away from Panchra Railway Station. It is adjacent to the border of the neighbouring state Jharkhand. The foundation-stone of this college was led on 14th October 1995 by Binay Krishna Chowdhury, the then honourable Minister-in- Charge of Land and Land Reforms, Govt. of West Bengal. The institution is named in the memory of two eminent Bengali novelists, Sailajananda Mukhopadhyay and Falguni Mukhopadhyay of this locality.
