Saastra College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research

Established in the year 2007 under the Venkateswara Educational Society, the College has been a nurturing ground for Education, research, training for employment of professionals. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education- New Delhi, Pharmacy Council of India ? New Delhi, CPCSEA ? New Delhi, Government of Andhra Pradesh- Hyderabad and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur ? Anantapur. The College has built up a strong infrastructure if fulfilling the objective of providing the best possible pharmaceutical education. The college is having highly knowledgeable faculty, most of whom hold doctorates and facilities that enable students to gain a complete education. The college maintains continuous interaction with industry to ensure that the learning program remains relevant to the changing trends in pharmaceuticals. The College is constantly seeking to upgrade the quality of its education and actively participates in research to remain on the cutting edge. Collaborations with foreign universities are also being planned with this objective. Establishment of pilot manufacturing and testing units to enable students to gain an even more hands-on education is under progress.
