R.K.Samy College of Education was established in the year2006. With pride and deep reverence we have dedicated The institution in memory of the benign philanthropist late Mr.R.K.Samy of Vani village, Ramanathapuram District. The missionary zeal of the founder is being carried out but yet another compassionate and generous educationist Shri.M.Vijayan M.Sc., B.Ed., Managing Trustee and Chairman of the college. Prof. Dr. M. Punithambal M.Sc (Psy)., M.A., (Eng).,M.A.,(W.S) M.Ed., Ph.D., Former HOD of the department of Education, and HOD of the department of Research of Mother Teresa University, is the Principal of the college, heading all the academic as well as student-centered activities with high level of proficiency, love, and dedication. She provides appropriate Pedagogic milieu and charts out conducive channels and programs for the wholesome development of personality of our students-teachers with multifaceted and multilevel competencies.
