RAMGOVIND GROUP OF COLLEGES (R.G.C.) was established in 2004, in joint collaboration (PPP mode) with Govt. of Jharkhand, under special initiative by Govt. of Jharkhand to promote technical education in the state, with two collages, Ramgovind Institute of Technology (R.I.T) & Ramovind Polytechnic Institute (R.P.I) as its wings. The Institutes are being developed under the able guidance of experienced Technocrats, Engineers and Academicians from all parts of the country as well as globally.The institutes are approved by All India Council for Technical EducationRamgovind Institute of Technology is established under the banner of RGBM Development Society and Govt. of Jharkhand under special initiative to promote technical education. RIT is situated in Jhumri Tilaiya, 7 km. from Koderma Railway Station on Patna-Ranchi Highway. The institute has received the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Affiliation has been granted by the Vinoba Bhave University for the award of Engineering Degree. The courses that are being offered by the Institute have been selected after acquiring through understanding of the requirements of the Indian as well as global industry today.
