Rajarshi Tandon Mahila Mahavidyalaya

The College was established in the year 1975 as an extension of Gauri Pathshala Inter College (established in 1905). The College began with Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Education, Music (Instrumental) Music Vocal, Political Science, Economics, Ancient History and was affiliated to the University of Allahabad. There are about five thousand books for the benefit of the undergraduate students, besides Journals and Magazines. National Service Scheme (NSS) conducts outreach programmes all round the year. the college provides higher education of excellent quality and to empower them so that they may become independent and self-sufficient enriched with moral values and may become responsible citizens of the nation. Network Resource Centre has been established with internet connection for the purpose of teachers and staff, where they can search and explore their knowledge. With the mission in view, the College promotes higher learning within the constraints of prescribed syllabi through the lecture method encompassing the latest knowledge in the field. There is a use of audiovisual aids whenever it is needed.
