Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj College of Agri-Business Management

From the academic year 2009-2010, Deccan Education Society, Pune established Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj College of Agri-Business Management at Sangli for offering a new four year Degree programme in the field of Agri-Business Management. The College is being run by the Deccan Education Society, Pune and is affiliated to the Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri & recognised by Maharashtra Council of Agri. Education & Research, Pune (Mh.). Vishrambag situated on the outskirts of Sangli, had already started developing as a hub of educational institutions, with Deccan Education Society's Willingdon College set up way back in the year 1919, Walchand College of Engineering, set up in 1947 and Chintamanrao College Of Commerce in 1960. A gap was identified for an institution rendering agricultural education. Hence, it was decided to establish an Agri. Business Management college by Deccan Education Society, Pune. Our college has full of institutional environment.
