Raidighi BEd College

It has been felt that there is a tremendous need of trained teachers in secondary and higher secondary school of our state, particularly in the district of South 24 Parganas. The Raidighi College, with the help of eminent educationists and scientist of the locality, has come forward and set up Raidighi B.Ed. College. It has received the approval of Calcutta University and other appropriate bodies. It is known that knowledge explosion and epoch making advancement of science and technology in recent times have made it almost imperative to improve the system of education as well as the teaching ? learning process at all levels, particularly at the school level. In order to cope up with such changes, the improvement and updating of school education and teacher education, again is all the more necessary and urgent.
