Purvanchal Institute of Dental Sciences, a premier professional Institute aims to impart quality and value based education in the field of dentistry. The institute has been established at GIDA, Gorakhpur on Gorakhpur ?Lucknow high way approx 10 kms.away from Gorakhpur city.This is the first Institute of its kind in the Purvanchal region. The Institute is surrounded by more then 500 villages with dense population thus generating enough study material in the form of patients. The Institute is aesthetically designed, well architectured and strategically planned over 10 acres of land keeping in view the future expansion requirements .The Institute has built up area of approx 1.25 lakh sft consisting of administrative block, academic block, clinical block, laboratories, library, canteen, separate boys and girls hostel and faculty residences. The Institute has been provided with state of the art facilities, equipment, and dedicated team of teaching faculty for teaching, training of students as well as treatment of patients. The foundation stone of the institute was laid on 22 Jan 05 and the 1st batch of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) was started in the year 2006 and has now graduated. The Institute plans to start Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in the coming year. The Institute is progressing ahead and will emerge as one amongst the best in the country. The college campus has been provided with round the clock water and electric supply by having three deep bore wells and dedicated high capacity generator. The college is surrounded by springing lush green lawns and landscapes that give a very soothing look for the eyes. Indoor / outdoor games, sports and recreational facilities have also been provided for the benefit of the students.
