For the past few years, we are actively involved in social services under the umbrella of NRI FRIENDS. These friends have constructive programmes to serve the rural students of backward area of Telangana and evolved as a society i.e., Procadence Educational Society. THE PROCADENCE EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY is started in the month of October 2006. We are the members of this society were involved in social activities such as helping the weaker families committing suicides because of their severe economical problems by providing some economical assistance, providing scholarships, books and uniforms to the poor rural students of Medak dist and conducting awareness programme on HIV/AIDS, conducting evening remedial classes to the educationally backward students in villages etc. In the mean time, our close association with social service activities resulted in several meetings, discussions. This practice has given us a chance to float an idea to form a society to impart higher education to the needy people in our district. All of ours ideas amalgamated as a single idea for noble cause and resulted to form a Procadence Educational Society And never has there been a more exciting time to be learning and advancing the pharmaceutical sciences and the professional practice of pharmacy. Health care, including how drugs are developed and used, is about to be transformed by the advances being made daily through genomics research. Sea change is also coming in other aspects of health care. As the new Medicare drug benefit, which requires medication therapy management services to patients with certain chronic conditions, is implemented, the community pharmacist's role in direct patient care is expandingThe pharmacist and the pharmaceutical scientist are key players in making sure that new and existing drug therapies are safe when they come to market, are prescribed appropriately, are used safely and are accessible to those who need them. PROCADENCE INSTITUTE OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES ,established in the year 2008 ,aims to be in a forerunner in promoting quality Pharmacy Education. We yearn to make great strides in quality pharmacy education, providing unique learning opportunities for students and meeting the challenge of industry demands. We want to implement a new curriculum for the Pharm.D Degree and M.Pharmacy in coming years. ?The College?s research orientation ? its strong discovery piece ? will make us very different from most of other pharmacy colleges in the Andhra Pradesh We are especially looking forward to the future with great anticipation and excitement.
