Prithvi Raj Degree College, Mau, Uttar Pradesh affiliated to V.B.S. Purvanchal University, Jaunpur (UP) and Recognized by National Council for Teacher Education has been founded with motto to provide higher education to boys and girls of Mau District. Management of the college is committed to impart qualitative education at higher level. College has dexterously been in service of Education since its inception. Today this Institution has been recognized as one of the best education centre in Jaunpur District. This college was founded with the objective of imparting advance education and training to young generation, under the guidance of the most enlightened scholars. The aims was not only to produce competent students but also to train them to hold senior positions of trust and responsibility. Besides providing academic education in various streams, the college was founded with aims of providing technical and professional education with special attention to personality development and career building for the betterment of the youth of India and through their scholarly achievements and academic distinctions may carry forward the intellectual tradition of our ancient country.
