Prasad Institute of Technology

Prasad Institute of Technology has been established in 2002 by Prasad Educational Trust with an aim to impart excellent technical education in the field of engineering, technology, pharmacy & management. The institute insists on developing students into efficient technocrats in their selected pursuits by guiding them to build their insights abilities and way of right thinking. It is a major breakthrough in a highly dense and technically backward region of eastern UP.The aim of the institute is to make the region competitive with other part of the country by contributing to better socio-economic growth. The institute is approved by AICTE, Ministry of Human Resource & Development, Government of India, Government of Uttar Pradesh and affiliated to GBTU, Lucknow formerly known as UPTU, Lucknow. The institute is situated on the bank of river Gomti, 5 km away from Jaunpur city on Azamgarh Road and is spread over an area of 40 Acre. Jaunpur is 60 km from Varanasi and 100 km from Allahabad. It is well connected to other part of the country by road, rail and air.
