Payyannur College

Payyanur College, Payyanur is a Post Graduate College situated at Edat, in Kunhimangalam Panchayat and affiliated to Kannur University. It is one of the very few sought after institutions of higher education and learning under the jurisdiction of the Kannur University. From the moment of its inception forty one years ago, the college has been functioning as an outstanding, secular centre of academic excellence. Payyanur College was inaugurated by its Chief Patron Vyaghram S. Sivaramakrishna Iyer on the 15th of July 1965. The Payyanur Educational Society which owns the college is a non-communal, non-partisan registered society of over two thousand members.
