Parijat Academy Teacher Education Institution

Parijat Academy Teacher Education Institution (PATEI), Dibrugarh was established in 2006. This is a prominent institute in the region. The main objective of the college is to produce highly skilled and trained secondary level teachers for facilitating students to acquire quality education. The college is recognized by the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education), New Delhi and ERC (Eastern Regional Committee). The college provides qualified lecturers to impart their experience to the students, which would help them in accomplishing their objective. The college has all the modern facilities to help the students in acquiring the skills of a teacher. The college is affiliated to Dibrugarh University, established in 1956 under the provisions of the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965 passed by the Assam Legislative Assembly. This is a teaching-cum-affiliating university. The university is recognized by the University Grant Commission, UGC, and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC, with B Grade and also is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
