Parekh Brothers Science College

This college was initially started as ?Shah K. S. Arts and Parekh Brothers Science College? in 1961. It became an independent single faculty (Science) College due to demerger, which resulted from the merger of Shah K. S. Arts and V. M. Parekh Commerce College ? established in 1964. Since its establishment P. B. Science College is affiliated with Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. The affiliation was made permanent in 1985. As its principle aim, it caters to the diverse educational needs of the students? coming from Kapadwanj and the rural areas surrounding it. One of the humble motives to start the college in the rural area of Kapadwanj was to promote women education in the field of Science.
