Pandit Sant Ram Government College

Pandit Sant Ram Govt. College (PSR Govt. College) came into existence in January 2007. Earlier this college was known as GGDSD College, Baijnath and it was established in 1961 to fulfill the demand of the peoples of the region for imparting higher and quality education to the aspirants. After being taken over by the Govt. of Himachal, the college was rechristened as Pt. Sant Ram Government College, Baijnath. The College is located on NH-20 at Baijnath town, 53km from district HQ Dharamsala and 16km from Palampur. It is perched on the left bank of Binwa river and offers a panoramic view of serene beauty of Binwa. The majestic splendor of snow clad Dhauladhar Range gives a boost to the creativity of the teachers and taught. The College offer Undergraduate courses in Humanities, Commerce and Science streams. With each passing day, the college is trying hard to add more gems in the arena of education. The upcoming professional courses- BCA and BBA, is one such endeavour in this direction. Besides this, the college will start Add-On courses in near future.
