Panchayat College

Panchayat College, Bargarh was established in 1960 is the first ever college in Orissa to have started teaching from the first year of its inception in its wellfurnished building. The college was initially affiliated to the Utkal University and later the college got affiliated to Sambalpur University. The college was accredited as A Grade "B+" college by NAAC. The college was taken over by the Government of Orissa from private management and higher Secondary (Plus Two) classes, affiliated to CHSE, Orissa, have been opened in the college since 198384. Campus of Panchayat College The college is away from the din and bustle of Bargarh town; is situated at its southern extreme. The college campus extends over an area of more than 40 Acres.
