It is a known fact that teachers play a very important role in students? lives. To a great extent, teachers are instrumental in moulding their future, shouldering the responsibility by providing a strong foundation for the young generation. Recognising the need for producing quality teachers, the NPR College of Education (NPRCE) was established in year 2005 with the Motto ?Reach the Star?. Our College of Education offers Two years B.Ed., programme. The course combines theoretical and practical teaching with micro-teaching methods of instruction. The NPR College of Education is a part of the NPR Group of Institutions having rich experience in the field of education. The College of Education introduced the B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) programme to prepare educational leaders in a learning-centered environment and the various aspects associated with teaching. Its well organized infrastructure and modern teaching methodology meet the needs of the students of 21st century. The college is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai and is recognized by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) and Govt. of Tamil Nadu. NPR College of Education has been accredited with ?B? grade by the National Accreditation Assessment Council (NAAC), Bangalore. The grade was awarded at a high profile glittering ceremony of NAAC organized on September 15,2015 at Bangalore and was received by Mrs.S.Thamarai Selvi, Principal of the college.
