Nandalal Borgohain City College

Nandalal Borgohain City College, Dibrugarh is a co-educational institution of Higher Education established in August, 1992 as a result of the great effort the renowned educationist Late Nandalal Borgohain. Initially the college was known as Dibrugarh City College later renamed as Nandalal Borgohain City College in the year 2008 in honour of its founder. This Non-Government Public College situated in the South -Western outskirts of Dibrugarh Town at Nirmali Gaon. It caters to the educational needs of the poor and backward population of Assam. The College is an affiliated institution under the Dibrugarh University in 1997. The college was awarded ?B? Grade by NAAC with the Institutional score 73.00 with effect from 23rd November, 2005. It offers Higher Secondary Programmes in Arts and Commerce and Degree Programmes of Arts stream. It has also started self- financing Diploma Courses in Computer Education and Short Term certificate courses in Electrician, Motor-Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Draughtsman, Welder, Fitter, Radio & T.V. Technician. The college has also been offering programmes under K.K.H.S.O.U. study centre & IGNOU partner institute.
