Nabin Chandra College

Nabin Chandra College, Badarpur was established with the objective of empowerment of the marginalized and the under-privileged through relevant higher education that serves as the basis of social, economic and cultural development and is apt to remove social disparity. The college is reaccredited by NAAC with B grade. The college has opened a Post-graduate correspondence course contact centre under Institute of Distance and Open learning (IDOL) of Gauhati University. The vision of the institute is to make higher education accessible to all aspirants of the local society, with special emphasis on meeting the needs of the girl students and those belonging to rural backward sections of the society, keeping in mind quality in education. The mission of the institute is to foster the feelings of liberal humanism, mental tolerance, national integration, brotherhood and fellowship among the students in particular and the society in general.v
