Mohanananda College

Mohanananda College was established on 4th September 2003. It has been developed as a self-financing Non-government Teacher Education College at the behest of Sri Bibhabananda Bramhachary Maraharaj, Sri Ranajit Kumar Das, Working president of Organizing Committee, as well as by the intent cooperation of local people. The College was inaugurated by Hon'ble Sri Jyoti Basu, formar Chief Minister of West Bengal.NCTE.ERC, Recognized Mohanananda College, Nadiha, Durgapur, Burdwan, WestBengal-713218 for B.ED course of one year duration from the academic session 2005-2006 with an annual intake of 100(one hundred) vide NCTE.ERC/ 7-55.6(7)/2005/1267 dated 20th April,2005 . Code APE 00154. Gazette of India part III, section 4. The institution functions in its own 3- storied building. Area of Land - 27 khattah; Area of builiding-9600sq.ft (approx), rest open space with green cover. During last two academic sessions, the performances of the students of this College will reflect the standard of teaching of this College. During the session 2003-04, 46% of students passed in 1st class while 55.5% (approx) of students passed in the 1st class during the session 2004-05. Final Examination of the University of this session (2005-06) is yet to be held.
