MKHS Gujarati Girls College

Matushri Kankuben Hirachand Sanghvi had the honour of being the first commerce college for girls in the country. It was established in the year 1982. Funds for this institution was provided by Matushri Kankuben Hirachand Sanghvi Charitable Trust. In the year 1983 and 1986 BSc (Home Science) and postgraduate classes in commerce were started respectively. In the year 1997-98 with the aid of UGC B.Com. (Tax Procedure) and in 1998-99 B.Com. (Computer Application) courses were started. After the success of these courses MBA (Computer Management) and BCA courses were started. In the year 2000-2001 B.Com. (Foreign Trade) course was started. Classes in BBA & BBA (FT) were started in 2006-2007. In the year 2007-2008 B.Com. (Hons) course was started. Certificate courses in Insurance Management, Fashion Designing and Multimedia & Web Designing approved by UGC New Delhi were started in the year 2004. PGDCA started in the year 2013.
