Miriam College of Education, East Godavari was established in 1999 by Miriam Children's Home, Amalapuram, a registered charitable society founded in 1969 by Bishop Ernest P. Komanapalli & Mrs. Rachel J Komanapalli. Miriam College of Education objective is to assist the Christian Students in their quest for knowledge. The College offers Bachelor of Education course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course. The Miriam College of Education is functioning under the supervision of Rev. Carl David Komanapalli, Secretary & Correspondent. The newly constructed building fully furnished equipped was a munificent gift from Erikshjalpen, Sweden. Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.It is affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam
