It is an honour and proud privilege to be the Principal of Michael Madhusudan Memorial College, Durgapur (Steel City of West Bengal). Durgapur was a dream project of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, the second chief minister of the state. To fulfil growing need for extension of education and to develop useful human resources in locality, the college is established on 1996 at the prime location of City Centre. So, the institution has great importance in respect to its geographical location and wide capacity to accommodate appreciable number of students for higher education.
