Mayang Anchalik College

Mayang Anchalik College is a degree (Arts ) college which was established in 1992 in the village Rajamayang, PO- Rajamayang in the western part of the district of Morigaon, Assam. The college is permanentlyaffiliatedto guwahati University. The Core Subject offered bu G.U. in the college are Economics, History, Political Science, Education and Elective Assamese. Major Courses are also available in all the subjects. The College has been included under Schemes 2(f) & 12(b)of UGC Act 1956 The college is situated at a distance of 42 Km. from Morigaon College, 35 Km. from Jagiroad College,35 Km. from Dimoria College and 33 Km from Narengi Anchalik College. All roads to the College are pacca (Black topping). Since its inceptionit has been dedicated to cater for the need of higher education to the poor and needy students of the area. Now the college is the center of excellence in imparting/ expanding education among rural poor students.
