Mata Gurdev Kaur Memorial Shahi Sports College of Physical Education

With a view to encourage and develop sports, Shahi Rural Sports and Educational Society was established in 1998 under the patronage of Satguru Jagjit Singh (Namdhari Darbar Shri Bhani Sabh)Originally the society was lovingly & popularly known as " Shahi Sports" in the area. The society has been committed to work for the promotion of rural sports and Physical Education. It has done a commendable job for the promotion of women boxing and upliftment of sports. It has produced Asian Gold, Silver Medalist and World Cup Bronze medalist, and many state, National / International level women boxers. It produced many University/Interversity and All India Inter University medalist in men section also . It provides Grounds equipments ,Coaches Sports kit and Diet to rural and poor sections of youth for the promotion of Sports,Education and Employment.
