Manyawar Kanshiram Institute of Tourism Management (MKITM) is a premiere Institute providing high-quality education in the field of tourism management and providing consultancy to the industry. The Institute of Tourism Management, Lucknow, northern chapter of (Indian Institute of Travel and Tourism Management, Govt. of India) was established in 1991 by the Department of Tourism, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh and was duly registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, on 'World Tourism Day' 27th September 1991. The Institute shifted in its own building at Vikalp Khand-II, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow in July, 2009 with a new name 'Manyawar Kanshiram Institute of Tourism Management' (MKITM).
