Majhighariani Institute Of Technology And Science (MITS) was started in the year 2009 with a small campus, now it is blossomed into a complete institute for higher education and research. The brand ?MITS? sparks to one?s mind as one of the growing and proven institutes in India that produces class of young achievers in enterprise, information technology and research in almost all areas of engineering. The professional motive is to "train young students into today?s socio-research and industrial need, where its technocrats can successfully put their leanings into ideas, action, methods and techniques. The campus is located at Rayagada, Orissa, India. The hostel is available for both boys and girls. The boys hostel has the accommodation of 800 students and girls hostel is accommodate of 600 girls. Auditorium- A well equipped and a spacious auditorium is available with the capacity of 600 persons. Sports- The provide the indoor and outdoor games like Volley ball, Football, Cricket, Hockey, Chess, Badminton, Caroms etc., in the campus. The College conducts Sports Meet and encourages students to participate in the Inter-Collegiate events.
