Maharaja Lakshman Sen Memorial College

Raja Latit Sen, the sole trustee of Maharaja Lakshman Sen Memorial Trust And the founder of Maharaja Lakshman Sen Memorial College, Sundernagar, was a renowned national figure and was devoted to the social service of the country. He remained a Member of Parliament for two terms and was also the Chief Parliamentary Secretary in Sh. Lal Bahadur Shastri?s Ministry. Led by a sense of dedication and devotion to the nation and the realization that human belongings and wealth are as ephemeral as life itself, the late Raja Lalit Sen of Suket established this college by making liberal donations in cash and in the shape of buildings, a playground and extensive lands. Now, Dr. Hari Sen of Suket is the Trustee and the President of the College.
