Maharaja Agrasen College

Established in 1971, Maharaja Agrasen College, Jagadhri, has traversed a long way, moving decisively towards its goal of becoming one of the leading institutions dedicated to imparting quality education to the students. The initial funds for setting up of the College came from the Maharaja Agrasen Sabha (registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860). The Maharaja Agrasen Sabha is also running Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management and Technology, to promote the quality management education through MBA and MCA programmes since 1997 and 2000 respectively. The Kurukshetra University accorded recognition to the College in 1972 under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.
