LSM Government PG College

Established in 1963, Laxman Singh Mahar (L.S.M) Govt. Post Graduate College Pithoragarh (Uttarakhand) is an affiliated college of Kumaun university, Nainital (A 4 star accredited university by NAAC). The college is being developed as a model college by Govt. of Uttarakhand, is among 65 government colleges in Uttarakhand and is the only college in the Kumaon Division of Uttarakhand that has secured B++ grade from NAAC. The college is located in the district headqurters of Pithoragarh district and is situated at 151 km. and 212 km. road distance from the rail heads of Tanakpur and Kathgodam respectively.
