The year 1974 marked the inception of Lokmanya Hospitals as a Registered Public Charitable trust. With its humble beginnings as a 10-bedded hospital, founded by two eminent medical specialists, Dr.V.G.Vaidya and Dr. S.M.K.Husainy and associate doctors, providing comprehensive Community health care and diagnostic services to the Industrial Workers & Residents of Pimpri-Chinchwad & Nigdi area under one roof for over 31 year's round the clock untried. Lokmanya Medical Foundation apart from providing health care services is also engaged in various Medico-Social Project.With its commitment to health for all, the organisation has undertaken various community out reach activites like AIDS Awareness, Early Cancer Detection and Prevention, Anti-Tobacco Campaign, Road Safety and Accident Injury Prevention, Occupational Health, Yoga, Socail Marketing and Health Education. The Lokmanya continues to break new ground in terms of what?s possible for the health of our region by working to plan for the future and anticipate the needs of a growing community in all spear of health and education.
