Laureate Institute of Education And Training

The Laureate Institute of Education and Training (L.I.E.T.) was established in 2006 and is managed by Laureate Educational Society (Regd. under Societies Registration Act XXI, 1860 Regd. No. 2/1993, dated 22nd September 1992). It is a Co-educational institute which has been granted recognition by the government of Himachal Pradesh and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. The institute has earned the Institutional Eligibility for Quality Assessment (IEQA) status of NAAC. Intake of the institute for B.Ed. Course is 100 for Science/Commerce/Arts graduates. The institute has all the necessary infrastructure and instructional facilities as per the norms of Government of Himachal Pradesh/NCTE/H.P. University.
