Mr. Ravindra G. Sapkal, Chairman, Kalyani Charitable Trust, Mumbai, had a splendid vision of providing education and ample opportunities to the children and youth of India to excel globally in different professions. His dream included providing globally acknowledged education to the children and adults enabling them to pursue diverse careers and contribute to the national development of this incredible country India. June 2006 marked the first milestone for Kalyani Charitable Trust with the successful establishment of Orchid International School (OIS), a co-educational residential cum day boarding school which has a scenic campus at Anjneri Hills, Nashik in Maharashtra. OIS witnessed great success in imparting challenging, meaningful and internationally recognized education to children. After the roaring success of the OIS, the Orchid group announced formation of Sapkal Knowledge Hub ? an integrated educational complex providing school,graduate and post-graduate education for excellence. Pharmacy, Engineering and Management are some of the programmes have been envisioned to promote competitive education & help gain access to information, training and resource. The Sapkal Knowledge Hub encompasses over 110 acres of scenic and beautiful natural setting of hills and valleys and world class infrastructure. The campus is self ?sufficient and conducive to 360 degree development of its students. The Kalyani Charitable Trust had started the Late G N Sapkal College of Engineering in 2009 as one of the institutes of Sapkal Knowledge Hub and providing high quality education and training to meet the emerging needs of the Industry. Late G N Sapkal College of Engineering is located within Sapkal Knowledge Hub, situated about 20Kms from Nashik Road Railway Station, 16Kms from Central Bus Stand (CBS) and 30Kms from Airport towards Trimbakeshwar. The Institute provides a distinctive excellence driven engineering education that will groom future generations of engineers and entrepreneurs. It has been established with intake 240 and presently offers undergraduate & post graduate courses with annual intake of 660 and 78 respectively.
