Klb Dav College For Girls

KLB DAV College for Girls, Palampur, is one of the pioneer institute imparting education to girls in various discipline. A beacon of knowledge and women empowerment, it has made a creative and meaningful contribution in the field of education in Himachal Pradesh and adjoining states. This prestigious institution is managed by Sh. Kanhya Lal Burail DAV College for girls, Managing body, Palampur (HP). In order to fulfill the demands of fast changing global scenario and make the girls more competent and well equipped, Bed professional courses was introduced w.e.f academic session 2005-06. BBA and BCA courses are also running in the college. With the changing scenario in employment, the management established two new professional courses viz. MBA (Affiliated to HPTU, Hamirpur), MCA (Affiliated to HPU, Shimla approved by AICTE) w.e.f session (2012-13). The maiden batch of MBA passed out in this session with flying colors and the first batch of MCA will be passing out in session 2014-15. The Department of Teacher Education has been accredited with "B" grade by NAAC. D.El.Ed course will also run from the coming academic session 2015-16, which is the new feather in its cap.
