Kanchan Singh Bhooli Devi Mahavidyalay, Kanpur Dehat was established in the year 2002 by ?SIKSHA PRASAR SAMITI? in sweet memories of our Grand father and Grand Mother who were the source of inspiration for this educational venture. The Founder of the Society Smt. Ram Dulari Devi is a living Ideal of scarifies and devotion. She has devoted 3.428 Hectare of arable land to the management committee of Kanchan Singh Bhooli Devi Mahavidyalay. Smt. Ram Dulari Devi strongly feels that students of the area should not be deprived of quality education. To fulfill her dream, the family members pleasantly took over the task of higher education and induced it to successful and glorious path. The Socialist thought of Smt. Ram Dulari Devi has made her to arrange marriage of 11 orphan girls successfully. This is surely something to salute her great idealism The Society have the objectives to provide quality education to the students of in and around the Bhikhanapur area as the real Educational development of the area could not take place though it is very near to Kanpur Mahanagar, the industrial hub of UP. With this motive the society established the Mahavidyalay, and initially started Bachelor of Arts in July 2002. The B.Ed course was started from July 2003 whereas the B.Sc. & B.P. Ed from 2007. The Mahavidyalay is also running Post Graduate courses in English and Education from the year 2009 onwards. The Society is further proposing that the BTC course recognized by NCTE may start from this academic session after having affiliation of the SCERT Lucknow U.P. The proposed additional intake in the existing B.Ed with 100 seats and M.P.Ed 30 seats are the in-hand efforts for making the Mahavidyalay a composite unit of Education.
