Jeevan Jyothi School of Nursing

Jeevan Jyothi School of Nursing is a christian minority educational institution established & managed by the sisters of the society of Jesus, Mary & Joseph. The society was founded by Rev. Fr. Mathias Wolff S. J. in 1822. The medical apostolate of the society began in India in the year 1904 with the arrival of seven Dutch sisters at the invitation of his grace J Alen the then Archbishop of Madras. Planted as a mustard seed, the society spread its medical apostolate to various parts of India. At present, the society has 4 colleges of nursing at Guntur, Dargamitta, Hyderabad and Bangalore. It also has five schools of nursing one of which is Jeevan Jyothi School of Nursing, Telco, Jamshedpur.
