The first IT institute of the state providing pioneered IT education in Uttrakhand since 2002 when the states education think tanks had yet not droned their mantel for the IT sector. In affiliation with HNB Garhwal the then the only resident alma-matter for the state. It designed the IT programs & courses with active guidance of the Uttarakhand?s education ministry, IIT Roorkee and HNB Garhwal. In the last decade or so it has not only established its hegemony as the lead institute but also been honked as the Employment Leaders recently. Among the courses offered are both IT and Management courses as BSc IT, MSc IT , BCA etc and on the the other hand such domains as BBA , BLib , MLib and B.Sc. Animation.BSc IT being a full form course has established itself as the pioneer course among the Dehradun Colleges. Institute of Technology and Management is among few institutes/colleges in Dehradun which that offers BSc IT, MSc IT courses affiliated & approved by the Sole Central University of Uttarakhand ? ?The HNB Garhwal University?. It would be worthwhile to mention here that the ITM?s MICROSOFT IT ACADEMY has been designated as the Lead Institute of the Academic Excellence by none other than the IT Wizard Microsoft Company itself. The Institute has a well designed and a competent Placement Cell, proactively engaged in seeking placement opportunities for our students with various IT industries. While we train our students we also look into their aptitudes, abilities and attitudes so that we can arrange for their placements according to their skills and interests.
