Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition

The Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Meerut was established in 1987 as an autonomous body and is registered as an Educational Society under Societies Act 1860. IHMCTAN Meerut was founded and established by Prof. Raghuvansh Rajan, a visionary, in year 1987. The Campus 1 or the Old Institute has campus area of over 2.5 acres. The Campus 2 is spread over a 12.5 acre campus with ultra modern facilities on National Highway 58 (Delhi-Dehradun Road). It has properly laid out separate blocks with approx. 2.25 lacs sq.ft. covered area including academic block, laboratories, hostels etc. The two campuses together offer complete theoretical and practical training. IHM, Meerut is the First Hospitality Education Institute in Northern India to be approved by the All India Council for Technical Education in 1993.
