Institute of Cooperative Management

The Institute of Cooperative Management, Guwahati, is one of the nineteen Institutes of Cooperative Management in the country and functions under the overall administrative control of National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT), New Delhi, being funded by Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. The Institute was established in 1974. At the initial stage, all the seven states of North Eastern Region were under its jurisdiction for extending training needs of middle level personnel of Cooperative Department and Institutions. After establishment of another Institute at Imphal in the year 1986 the jurisdiction of this Institute now confines to the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya and Mizoram.
