Indra Ganesan College of Education (IGCE) is the first College of Education in Tiruchirappalli District. IGCE is a student centered Educational Institution focused on academic excellence, builds knowledge and develops character of its students to help them achieve success in life and chosen profession. In addition to academics, discipline and ethics are incorporated to every aspect of IGCE experience so that the graduates can lead organizations and drive positive change. The Prime objective of running this institution is to inculcate the spirit of dedicated service among the future generation and to provide ample opportunities to youngsters to equip themselves in secured employment. The executive committee of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) on the recommendation of the duty appointed peer team which was inspected in our college in the month of February 2012 and accredited with 'B'Grade in the Month of March 2012. Every day the college starts at 9.20 a.m. with Assembly and gets over at 4.45 p.m. We work from Monday to Saturday with six hours of teaching per day. We are very proud to say that our Institution has devoted and motivating teachers.
