The H.P. College of Education, Kala-Amb was established in the year 2003 under the patronage of Maa Saraswati Educational Trust, Kala-Amb with the objective to provide quality, modern and value based education affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University & approved by N.C.T.E., Jaipur. The college offers B.Ed course with an intake of 100 Seats (15% seats are reserved for All India open category and 5% for management. The fee structure is as per H.P. University norms. The college has a well-equipped library with large number of standard books both in education & general subjects. It is managed by well qualified librarian and Asstt. Librarian.The college is proud of very good computer laboratory with latest printers & scanners. Basic computer training & practical knowledge of computer is provided to all students by trained & well qualified computer teachers. Special attention is paid for the physical fitness of the students. They are also encouraged to participate in declamation contest, debates, educational seminars etc. All the student of the college are divided into five houses where their participation is compulsory. Besides this, the college has well equipped lecture halls, Science Lab, Educational Technology Lab, Psychological Labs, S.S. Lab, Language Lab, Conference Room Sports & Cultural Halls, Staff Rooms, Common Rooms & Hostels for boys & Girls separately.
