HJ Thim College of Arts and Science

Iqra education society?s H.J.Thim College Of Arts and Science was started in 1991. The college is affiliated to the North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. The college has accredited by NAAC with B+ in the year 2003. The college runs undergraduate course of Arts and Science stream, postgraduate course in Urdu and English are recently incepted. The B.Sc stream offers Information Technology, Mathematics and Chemistry at special level. The college is running a Diploma Course in Urdu language, in Hindi and English medium under National Council for promotion of Urdu language, Ministry of Human Resource development .The infrastructure of the college sprawls on 10,027 sq ft area include, I.T.& Sci. Laboratories, sports dept. and Library. Two plots covering the area of 5706 sq ft is donated by Mr. Abdul Karim Salar, the acting president of Iqra Education Society. The college provides sufficient sport facility to the student. A student of this college is selected in the National Hockey Team in 2006-2007 and in the same year boxing championship gold medal was won by our college student consecutively for three years the college represented the National level in various sports.
