Haldia Institute of Allied Medical and Health Sciences

Haldia Institute of Health science is one of the oldest institutes in the state of West Bengal conducting bachelor degree courses in allied health sciences for the last decade. At present we are conducting two degree courses, Bachelor of Physiotherapy(BPT) under The West Bengal University of Health Science,Salt Lake,Kolkata and Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) under the Vidyasagar Unniversity, Medinipur,Paschim Medinipur. The institute which was earlier known as College of Paramedical Science is attached to Dr. B. C. Roy Hospital with 500 indoor beds for regular clinical practice and patient related exposure.Besides that we have our very own well equipped Out PatientPhysiotherapy clinic which has become a centre of excellence in this part of West Bengal.
